This is the home of Dad and Mom Miller, known as Grandpa and Grandma (or Granny) to our six grandchildren - and now four great grandchildren!  Our actual home is located in Willis, Texas (about 50 miles north of Houston).

I guess there are a bunch of updates due.  It looks like I have been too busy (or just lazy) since my last bunch of changes to "Millers Corner" in January 2009.  Needless to say, things are constantly changing on the family/extended family scene.

One of the big events for 2010 was the birth on March 21st. of our first great-grandson, Deagan Fabel, born to our grandson Jordan and his wife Jamie.  Then on August 20th. our granddaughter Lauren married Ian Miller (no kin).  The extended family is continuing to grow.

Health wise Janice and I are still doing OK for a couple of card carrying Medicare recipients.  Not as spry as a few years ago, but still getting around and with no serious medical conditions.  Late October 2009 we departed on our "New England Odyssey" and drove all the way to Maine and return - 31 days on the road.  That was the second time (the first in fall of 2007) we had driven on our fall trip to New England.  Stopped along the way to visit family and friends and spent several days with our son Matthew and his family in Virginia (DC area).  Attended the Marine Corps Birthday Ball with them.

Glad you could stop by for that visit and maybe a cup of coffee.  Always fresh ground!  Also, I could offer you a cup of espresso, a cappuccino or whatever!  Maybe a cup of tea, hot chocolate or even a "sody pop".  How about an 8oz. bottle of Original Recipe Dr. Pepper, bottled only in Dublin, Texas!  Sit around and visit a while, talk about old times and generally enjoy yourself.  We will be around here for awhile, so come back for another visit whenever you can.  We hope to keep things around here updated as much as possible, so don't be a stranger!  And stop by the Photo Shop on 2nd. Street in case we have some new pictures up.  Please drop us a line or two when you get a chance at our e-mail address (davidandjanice@suddenlink.net) and let us know how you like our little corner of the world.  Click on the thumbnail photo below (or one of those above of our four great-grandchildren) to see a full-size picture, then click the "Back" button on your web browser to return to this page.
